“Architecture is the very mirror of life” – I.M. Pei
Searching for interesting aspects of Architecture, I found reflecting surfaces that seem like a distorted mirror of their surroundings. After capturing several of them through photography, I designed a newspaper consisting of mirrored double pages. As a typographical aspect, the word “mirror” is overlaid in a playful and distorted way, breaking up the reflection of the pages. To underline my work, I used quotes from Ieoh Ming Pei and my own definition of reflection.
